Dr. Wagner attended The Ohio State University for undergraduate and veterinary school, graduating in 1984.
After graduation, he worked in a large/small animal practice in Dover, Ohio for 3 years. Venturing out on his own in 1987, Dr. Wagner opened the Granville Veterinary Clinic and soon earned the trust and respect of the Granville and surrounding area residents, some of whom have moved out of the area or even the state, and still return for their pet’s annual visits and exams.
Faith, family, and community are the priorities outside of the office. Dr. Wagner loves outdoor sports and fly fishing when the opportunity exists. He and his wife, Becky, love to travel domestic and internationally to visit their 3 children. Their daughter lives in Australia and is married to a soon to be veterinarian (in schooling). One son lives in Denver and the other son is in Indianapolis. All have graduated from college and are off Dad’s payroll. Dr. Wagner and Becky share their home with 2 dogs, both very spoiled long-haired Dachshunds. Dr. Wagner is active in the Granville Rotary Club, the Granville Township Open Space Program, and is a long-time active member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Granville. Becky is the proprietor of the Village Pet Market next door to the clinic. The Village Pet Market started in 2008 and compliments the veterinary business by offering premium nutritional diets and assorted pet items.
