Dr. Amelia Lee - Veterinarian

Amelia Lee

Dr. Amelia Lee is a 2016 graduate of The Ohio State University, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Following graduation, she further advanced her clinical training through a competitive one-year internship at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala in Florida, gaining extensive hands-on experience in complex case management and advanced diagnostics.

She spent the next decade practicing as an ambulatory veterinarian in Camden, South Carolina, with South Carolina Equine Associates. During that time, she served as lead veterinarian playing an integral role in management of the practice, developing strong leadership, client communication, and medical management skills while caring for a diverse and demanding caseload. While living in South Carolina, she met and married her husband, Michael, and they welcomed their wonderful daughter, Adaline.

In the winter of 2026, she and her family returned to Ohio to be closer to loved ones. While her foundation is rooted in equine medicine, Dr. Lee has cultivated a growing professional focus in small animal care, with particular interests in feline medicine, internal medicine, and geriatric medicine. She is especially passionate about diagnostic problem-solving, chronic disease management, and supporting pets and their families through the unique needs of senior patients. She values forming lasting relationships with clients and guiding them through every stage of their animals’ lives with compassion and clarity.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she embraces farm life alongside her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Adaline, enjoying time outdoors and sharing her love of horses with her family. Their lively household includes a mini donkey named Eugene, a pony named Sweet Pea, a horse named Master, three cats, one dog, and nine chickens. When she’s not caring for patients, she treasures time spent riding, being outdoors, and building a life centered around family and animals."
