
Dr. Loscko is a native of Westerville, Ohio and has been actively teaching in higher education for the past twenty five years since she graduated from The Ohio State University with both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Loscko enjoys working in small animal practice, while also teaching at the university level.
Dr. Loscko is an active member in the Ohio Veterinary Medicine Association and the Ohio Public Health Association. She is an educational mentor, public speaker, and published author. and volunteers regularly with early start programs in surrounding area educational programs to promote STEM education.
She and her family enjoy their two Shih Tzu’s (Beau and Yori), fourteen-year-old cat (Benjamin), kayaking, hiking, and anything that involves the outdoors. Both she and Dan enjoy riding in the Pelotonia, participating on community boards and clubs, and staying active with their faith, family, and friends.
