Dr. Melissa Garrison is a compassionate and dedicated veterinarian with a passion for animal dentistry and preventive care.
She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from St. George’s University, completing her clinical year at Iowa State University. After graduating in 2020, Dr. Garrison began her veterinary career in the Columbus area, where she gained invaluable experience before joining Granville Veterinary Clinic in May 2024.
Dr. Garrison has a strong interest in helping pets maintain optimal oral health and preventing common health issues through proactive care. Her commitment to providing high-quality medical attention extends beyond routine check-ups, ensuring that each animal under her care receives personalized and compassionate treatment.
Outside of her veterinary work, Dr. Garrison resides in Utica with her husband. Their home is filled with love from their three indoor cats, one dog, two barn cats, and two horses, reflecting her deep connection to animals of all kinds.
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Garrison enjoys spending time with her family and animals, always exploring new ways to keep her pets healthy and happy.
